Colon Cancer Symptoms
Colon cancer symptoms are numerous and not specific. They include fatigue, weakness, shortness of breath, changes in habits colon, feces, feces narrow (small), diarrhea or constipation, blood red or black on feces, body weight loss, stomach pain, cramps, convulsions, or puffed-up. A barium enema involves taking x-rays of the colon and rectum after a patient is given an enema with a white liquid containing barium calcium. Barium showed bowel-colon on the x-rays. Tumor and other aberration shadow appear as dark shadows on the x-rays.
Colonoscopy is a procedure where doctors insert a long tube into the flexible visible the rectum with the purpose of checking in from all over the colon. Colonoscopy is generally considered more accurate than barium enema x-rays, especially in detecting small polyps.

If colon polyp is found, they are usually raised through the colonoscopy and sent to the pathologist. Pathologists examine polyps under the microscope to check for cancer.
